Our kitchen has roots, our kitchen is authentic, natural and always inspired by the produce from our Organic Farm.
Originating from the old refectory of the Dominican monks and located in ‘La Casa Grande’, on the Tormes River, you will enjoy unique views.
Our Chef pays homage to the produce from our Dehesa Zorita Organic Farm , the real stars of the show. Pioneers in launching and supporting the Slow Food® movement in the Douro Valley, we are what we are; farmers, with more than 700 years of tradition.

We are the pioneers for the SLOW FOOD® movement, we safeguard and bet on the gastronomic tradition of our area, the Douro Valley, conserving the native animals in danger of extinction, cultivating local products and respecting the cultivation methods appropriate to the area at our Hacienda Zorita Organic Farm.
